FAMOUS AMOS
Wally founded the Famous Amos Cookies company after a friend of his suggested he do so. According to famousamos.com, the whole story began "when Wally Amos began using his bite-sized cookies as calling cards and thank-you gifts. As Wally made his rounds in his entertainment business, more and more of his friends and clients asked for another bag of Wally Amos Cookies. Finally, with the backing of several Hollywood personalities, Wally launched The Famous Amos Cookies Company in 1975." Wally has influenced many people in America to buy his cookies with his amazing personality and has served families with them.

Not only did Wally create an authentic and delicious snack, he created an adult reading program (also a TV series) and a foundation that told parents to read to their children for 10 minutes everyday. Children aren't the only ones that have trouble reading. He said in an interview with Success that “he only way we are ever going to get rid of the problem of adult illiteracy is to create kids who can read, generations of children who can read.” Wally also created these two programs because his parents were illiterate.
